Amazon INFORM Act

Amazon INFORM Act. Documents that match the account.

INFORM Act, identity, and address-verification notices mean Amazon wants documents that match this seller account. Government ID, proof of address, sometimes business papers. Selling privileges can stay suspended until they accept them. You paste the notice. We draft a Plan of Action that quotes that request. You upload in Seller Central. Amazon decides. We do not log in. We do not file the documents for you.

Honest limit. An INFORM Act Plan of Action is a document. Amazon may still reject the files. Anyone selling a reinstatement guarantee is selling something they do not control. We do not log into your account. We do not upload ID or proof of address for you. We do not write a fake address story or a second-account plan.

What the notice is actually saying

Amazon is asking for identity and address documents that match the seller on this account. The notice may say INFORM Act, identity verification, address verification, or ask for a government ID plus a utility bill or bank statement. Adjacent DAC7 tax-reporting requests look similar: they want papers that match the legal person on the account. Selling privileges can stay suspended until they accept the pack.

What the POA must cover

  1. Quote that request. Use Amazon’s INFORM Act, identity, or address-verification wording. Include marketplace and case ID if present. This is not a generic inauthentic letter.
  2. List what you already uploaded. File type, date, and where you submitted it in Seller Central. Past tense.
  3. Name the remaining gap. Wrong address line, name mismatch, expired ID, missing business paper. Say what still does not match the account.
  4. Immediate actions already taken. Selling paused if they asked, old files withdrawn if they were rejected, new scans prepared.
  5. What you will upload next. The matching ID, proof of address, or business paper. You upload it. We do not file it.
  6. Prevention with an owner. Who keeps identity and address records current, what you keep on file, what happens if Amazon asks again.
  7. A review request. Short. You submit from Seller Central on this account.

Account-level only

INFORM Act, identity, and address verification are account-level. They are not the listing-only package. If Amazon named INFORM Act, identity documents, address verification, or an adjacent DAC7 document request, use Standard, Plus, or Rush. The listing package answers one suppressed ASIN. It will not answer this notice.

What we will not write

How you submit

We draft from the notice. You log into Seller Central. Account Health or the identity / INFORM Act notification. Paste the Plan of Action. Upload only the documents Amazon asked for. Do not attach our invoice. You can strip our footer if you want; default is to leave it.

We do not log in. We do not file the documents for you. Amazon decides whether the files match.

Drafts in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, or Polish. Match the language of the notice.

Clock starts when the notice and Stripe payment are both in. A platform “no” is not a refund. The product is the document. The listing package is not for this notice type.

What does an Amazon INFORM Act or identity notice mean?

Amazon wants documents that match this seller account. Government ID, proof of address, sometimes business papers. Selling privileges can stay suspended until they accept them. Adjacent DAC7 tax-document requests work the same way: match the account, do not invent a story.

Will this get my Amazon account reinstated?

No. It gives you a Plan of Action written from your INFORM Act, identity, or address-verification notice. Amazon decides. We do not promise reinstatement, approval, or that funds will be released.

Do you log into Seller Central or file the documents?

No. We draft from the notice. You upload the documents in Seller Central. We do not take passwords, we do not log in, and we do not file the documents for you.

Will you write a fake address story or a second-account plan?

No. We will not write a fake address story or a second-account plan. If you ask for that, we stop.

Is this legal advice?

No. Merchantfile drafts documents. Nick Schäfer / Nick’s Advisory, Frankfurt. If the notice is an IP lawsuit, a brand-counsel counterfeit claim, or something that needs arbitration, hire a lawyer. We will refuse the job.
