PayPal limitation

PayPal limited the account. We draft the response from that email.

Limitation, 21-day hold, unauthorized activity, Acceptable Use — PayPal’s emails are specific even when the dashboard is not. We quote their sentence, explain the activity they flagged, list the documents you are uploading, and ask for a review. You send it from the Resolution Center. PayPal decides.

Honest limit. Temporary holds and “information needed” letters are often document problems. Permanent limitation and AUP bans are harder. We still write what you can send. We do not promise the reserve comes off.

What goes in the letter

  1. Issue as PayPal stated it — unauthorized, AUP, selling activity, information request, hold.
  2. Account facts: personal or business, country, what you sell, typical ticket size, how you deliver.
  3. Root cause that matches the trigger: volume spike, new product line, missing tracking, ID mismatch, chargebacks — not a speech about being a good customer since 2014.
  4. What you already uploaded: government ID, address, invoices, tracking, supplier bills. Dates.
  5. What you changed: refund policy, product mix, how you mark shipments.
  6. Review request. You remain the sender.

How you submit

Resolution Center in the PayPal account that received the notice, or the reply path in that email. Do not use links from random “PayPal support” messages — if the URL is not paypal.com, it is not PayPal. We will not ask you to send us a password or a one-time code.

What we refuse

Drafts in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, or Polish.

Will PayPal restore my account if I buy this?

Unknown. We write the limitation letter. PayPal decides. No reinstatement promise.

21-day hold — do I still need a letter?

If they asked for documents or an explanation, yes. If they only asked for tracking on specific transactions, upload tracking first; a letter without the tracking they named does not help.

Do you contact PayPal for me?

No. You send the letter. We do not impersonate PayPal staff.
