Amazon inauthentic / IP

Amazon inauthentic notice. Answer the complaint they sent.

Inauthentic, counterfeit, and intellectual-property complaint notices mean Amazon says the goods or the listing do not match what the brand, a buyer, or Amazon’s authenticity checks expect. The Plan of Action has to quote that sentence and name a real source of supply. You paste the notice. We draft. You submit in Seller Central. Amazon decides. We do not log in. We do not promise the account comes back.

Honest limit. An inauthentic Plan of Action is a document. Seller Performance may still say no. Anyone selling a reinstatement guarantee is selling something they do not control. We do not log into your account. We will not write a fake invoice trail. We will not write a second-account plan. If a brand’s counsel has filed a lawsuit, a cease-and-desist that needs a lawyer, or this is a criminal counterfeit allegation, we refuse the job.

What the notice is actually saying

Amazon received a complaint or ran a check and classified the listing or the inventory as inauthentic, counterfeit, or an IP issue. The email may say “inauthentic item,” “counterfeit,” “intellectual property complaint,” “trademark,” or “copyright.” A generic Section 3 letter that never names the ASIN, the brand, or the supplier will not answer this.

What the POA must cover

  1. Quote their sentence. Use Amazon’s inauthentic, counterfeit, or IP-complaint wording. Marketplace, case ID, ASIN, and brand if present.
  2. One root cause. A process gap in supplier intake, invoice filing, listing copy, or how you verified the goods — not “a misunderstanding” and not “a competitor complained.”
  3. Source of supply, honestly. Named supplier, what invoices or authorizations you actually hold, dates. If you do not have invoices, say that. We will not invent them.
  4. Immediate actions already taken — past tense. Listing closed, FBA inventory stranded or removed, ads paused, remaining units quarantined.
  5. Corrective actions completed — also past tense. Intake SOP live, who checks authenticity, what you keep on file before the next PO.
  6. Prevention with an owner. Named person, cadence, what evidence you keep, who stops sales if the signal returns.
  7. A review request. Short. You submit from Seller Central. We are not a secondary user on Seller Support.

Account-level only

Inauthentic, counterfeit, and IP-complaint notices that name Account Health, selling privileges, or the whole catalog are account-level. Use Standard, Plus, or Rush. The listing package answers one suppressed ASIN on an otherwise open account. If Amazon only suppressed one ASIN and the rest of the account is selling, use the listing-suppressed POA instead.

What we will not write

How you submit

You log into Seller Central. Account Health → the inauthentic / IP notification → appeal / Reactivate your account. Paste the Plan of Action. Attach only the invoices or authorizations Amazon asked for — the ones that exist. Do not attach our invoice. You can strip our footer if you want; default is to leave it.

Drafts in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, or Polish. Match the language of the notice.

Clock starts when the notice and Stripe payment are both in. A platform “no” is not a refund. The product is the document. The listing package is not for a deactivated account.

What does an Amazon inauthentic or IP complaint notice mean?

Amazon says the goods or listing do not match what the brand, a buyer, or Amazon’s authenticity checks expect. The notice may say inauthentic, counterfeit, intellectual property complaint, or trademark. The Plan of Action has to answer that sentence with a real source of supply — not a generic Account Health letter.

Will this get my Amazon account reinstated?

No. It gives you a Plan of Action written from your inauthentic, counterfeit, or IP-complaint notice. Amazon decides. We do not promise reinstatement, approval, or that funds will be released.

Do you log into Seller Central?

No. You paste the notice. You submit the draft. We do not take passwords and we do not call Seller Support as you.

Will you write a fake invoice trail or a second-account plan?

No. We will not invent invoices, supplier letters, or a paper trail you do not have. We will not write an open-a-new-seller-account plan. If you ask for that, we stop.

Is this legal advice? What if a brand lawyer is involved?

No. Merchantfile drafts documents. Nick Schäfer / Nick’s Advisory, Frankfurt. If the notice is a brand-counsel lawsuit, a cease-and-desist that needs a lawyer, arbitration, or a criminal counterfeit allegation, hire a lawyer — we will refuse the job and do not take the money.
