Terminated, blocked, content policy, metadata, duplicate, review manipulation — KDP’s email names a policy even when it is short. We quote it, list the titles or ASINs they named, state the root cause, and ask for a review. You submit through KDP Contact Us. KDP decides. We do not promise the bookshelf comes back.
What the appeal contains
- Issue as KDP stated it. Account email, marketplace, titles / ASINs / ISBNs named, pen names on the account.
- Root cause that matches the policy: metadata, content overlap, formatting, review incentive, copyright — one cause per named issue.
- What you already did: titles unpublished, description corrected, files replaced, incentives stopped.
- Prevention: who checks metadata before publish, cadence, what you log.
- Review request. You submit. We are not KDP support.
How you submit
KDP Contact Us, or the path in the termination email, from the same account. Do not CC us on a letter “as Amazon.” Do not send us your KDP password.
What we refuse
- A plan to move the catalog to a spouse’s KDP to dodge the termination.
- Ghostwritten spam catalogs presented as original if the notice is about spam or duplication — we will not launder that.
- Legal representation in a copyright suit. That is a lawyer.
